Hello, I am interested in the TMJ massage you offer.
I have had problems with TMJ for over 10 years, and I have had a lot of improvement from wearing a splint over night. I do still get some pain though, so was wondering if a targeted massage would help.
I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what training have you had for this particular area? I would be reluctant to undergo a treatment which may cause a flare up.
Many thanks
Hello,
I did my initial training with ITEC at the Sylvia Brealey School of Therapy. I have followed this up with a number of post-graduate courses including this protocol for TMJ. I trained in TMJ Release with JING Institute of Advanced Massage Training.
This TMJ Treatment has had some fantastic results for my clients and is carefully tailored to your needs. By working with your feedback, I am able to stay within your comfort zone. I will also show you some techniques that you can use at home to maximise the benefits of this treatment.
The treatment starts with a detailed consultation and assessment to ensure that it is suitable for you.
Thank you for your interest, I hope this answers your query. I am always happy to answer any questions about treatments and training.
